On a 2003 Chevrolet Blazer, bank 2 sensor 1 refers to the upstream oxygen sensor located on the passenger side of the vehicle's engine. This sensor is positioned before the catalytic converter in the exhaust system. To access it, you typically need to lift the vehicle and may require some tools to remove any obstructions.
pass.side at exe manifold Bank 1 is where cylender 1 is. Bank 2 is on the other side of which is on the passenger side of the blazer. Oxygen sensor 1 is the first sensor closer to the front of the blazer. Sensor 2 would be past the catalytic converter on the same side.
The bank 1 sensor 2 on a 1996 Chevy Blazer is mounted in the exhaust. Sensor two is just behind the catalytic converter.
I have a code DTC P0154.Bank 2 Sensor 1 no activity.Which sensor is this on my 96 Blazer?
Assuming you mean bank 2 sensor 1, it would be the first O2 sensor located in the header pipe after the passenger side exhaust manifold.
O2 sensor circuit bank 1 sensor 2 no activity. Check the wiring and connections to bank 1 sensor 2 O2 sensor, if all looks good replace the sensor.
Trouble code P0135 means:O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
The bank 1 oxygen sensor on a 2003 Ford Taurus is located on the motor. It is on the top, back part near the firewall.
Bank 1 would be the passenger (right) side of engine. Bank 1 Sensor 2 would be the O2 sensor after the catalytic converter on the passenger side.
Bank one is the driver side on a 3.7L. There will be an upstream ( sensor 1 ) and a downstream ( sensor 2 ).
driver side first o2 sensor
Upstream, driver side.
Bank 1 would be the bank of cylinders that contains the number 1 cylinder. The bank 1 sensor 1 would be the first O2 sensor threaded into the exhaust system after that bank of cylinders that contain the number 1 cylinder.
