i would say u should get a third row SUV. we had a family of 5 in a 1999 Ford Taurus station wagon and it was not fun. we now have a 2007 Honda pilot with third row seating and it is a dream. anything with japenese motors though is what i reccommend.
did you check the kick down cable connected to your transmition to your carb or fuel injection unit? the main purpose of the kick down cable is it tells the transmition to shift when you accelerate the car.i had the same problem to my Ford Taurus. don't try to do it yourself! take it to the shop! See if that's the problem. Aloha
