Find the alternator, under the hood on the passenger side. Now look toward the firewall, and about a foot down from the alternator, you'll see two 2 inch pipes going into the firewall, one has a blue dust-cap on it, it's kinda difficult to reach, but if you have skinny arms you'll be able to just reach it and twist off the cap... the cap will have a 1/8'' hole in the top and a large letter L next to the hole. I hope that helps
The low pressure valve to put in 134a on a 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera V6 is on the passenger side of the engine compartment. It is about 12 inches below the alternator.
A 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass S with a 350 Rocket engine typically holds about 2 to 3 pounds of R-134A refrigerant for its air conditioning system, depending on the specific setup and whether it has been retrofitted for R-134A. It's important to consult the vehicle's service manual or a professional for precise specifications and proper charging procedures.
it is located slightly towards the driver side on the firewall inside the engine compartment. it has a black cap covering it. ti is clearly in view and easy to access.
The 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme holds 32 ounces of refrigerant. These models require R-134a Freon. This was used for all Cutlasses from 1994 to 1996.
R - 134a
It can cost between $200 to $700+ to convert systems. It depends on who is working on the car and where the parts are bought from.
General Motors changed their passenger cars in 1992 or 1993 so you can be pretty sure that it is R134a. My 1995 CS uses R134a.
R-134A
You are looking for the low pressure side valve. Follow the pipes from the compressor and with R-134a systems the hi and low pressure valves are idiot proof so you can not connect your recharge hose to the wrong valve
R-134A
To add freon to a 1998 Oldsmobile Cutlass, locate the low-pressure service port on the air conditioning system. This port is typically found on the larger diameter aluminum line between the compressor and the evaporator. Remove the cap, attach the refrigerant can's hose to the port, and follow the instructions on the can to add freon while the AC is running. Always ensure you are using the correct type of refrigerant for your vehicle, which is R-134a for this model.
The 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera Cruiser with a 3.1L engine typically requires about 2.5 to 3.0 pounds of R-134a refrigerant for its air conditioning system. It's essential to check the specific service manual or labels in the engine compartment for the exact amount, as it can vary slightly depending on the vehicle's specific configuration. Always ensure the system is properly evacuated and recharged by a qualified technician.
