In the Cadillac DTS, the starter is located on the lower side of the engine, near the transmission. Specifically, it is positioned on the passenger side, making it somewhat accessible from underneath the vehicle. To replace or service the starter, you may need to remove some components for better access.
the starter is located inside the intake manifold which is under the top cover that says northstar in other words itis inside the motor The starter is under the intake manifold>
The "DTS" as in Cadillac DTS stands for DeVille Touring Sedan. The Cadillac DTS replaced the Cadillac DeVille. The Cadillac DTS was first produced in 2005.
in my 2004 deville, it is located under the backseat.
Cadillac DTS was created in 2005.
Under back seat.
To my knowledge, Cadillac will not be producing the Cadillac DTS for the year 2012. The Cadillac DTS will be replaced for the 2012 year with the Cadillac XTS. Hope this helps!
IT IS LOCATED INSIDE OF THE TRANSMISSION
near the crankshaft
The starter on a 2003 Cadillac CTS is located in the engine compartment directly behind the alternator. The starter faces the firewall with the starter solenoid on top of the starter.
The starter on a 1993 cadillac assuming that it has a 32 valve northstar the starter is underneath the intake manifold
The battery is located under the back seat!
the problem is that the starter is inside the engines of northstars, bad design, only good for cadillac service centers, real rip off cost between $2,000 and $3,000 to have replaced.
