It should be on top of the rear differential.
A G2500 is a 4.3 L 150 hp V6 brand new. so not very fast definately under 100 mph
The wiper motor on a 1995 GMC G2500 Vandura is typically located under the dashboard on the driver's side. It is mounted to the firewall, near the base of the windshield. Accessing it may require removing the wiper arms and possibly the plastic cover that conceals the motor. Always refer to the vehicle's service manual for specific details and diagrams.
To adjust the choke on your 1985 Vandura G2500, first locate the choke mechanism, which is typically found on the carburetor. You can adjust the choke by loosening the screws that hold it in place and turning the adjustment screw or rod until the choke plate opens fully when the engine is warm. Ensure the choke is closed when the engine is cold for proper starting. After adjustments, test the vehicle to confirm proper operation.
follow the upper rad hose from the radiator to the engine, it should be in the part that the upper hose connects to and bolted to the engine (if memory serves), this based on a g2500 with a 5.7
no a g30 is a 3500 or 1 ton a g2500 is a 3/4 ton g2500 = G20
The GMC G2500 Vandura typically came equipped with either a 3-speed automatic transmission or a 4-speed manual transmission, depending on the model year and configuration. The automatic transmission was often the Turbo Hydra-Matic, which provided smoother shifting and improved performance. The choice of transmission could vary based on the engine option selected and the intended use of the vehicle. Always refer to specific model documentation for precise details.
I can't speak for the 1990, but on my 1989 it's on the passenger side near the rear axle strapped to the underside of the frame, it's a large cylinder (about 3" diameter) and pretty easy to spot and remove.
The 1996 GMC G2500 Vandura, being a full-size van with rear-wheel drive, can struggle in snow and slippery conditions compared to vehicles with all-wheel or four-wheel drive. Its weight distribution and size may provide some stability, but without proper winter tires, traction can be limited. Drivers should exercise caution, as the van's higher center of gravity can lead to increased risk of sliding. Overall, while it can manage light snow with careful driving, it's not ideal for heavy winter conditions.
Good engine(5.7) Good tranny(4L60E) Good rear end.....Great towing capacity because it is 1 ton w/ 3/4 ton brakes. I am the original owner of a 93' G2500 vandura family wagon and I love it....the way it sits...The sexy curves....It gets pretty good gas milage for it's weight 14+
