Go to autozone.com and click repair info on the left side of the page. Put in the details for your car, then over on the left click "Vehicle Repair Guides." Find the section you're looking for and it'll show you in there. On my 4 cylinder (the 2.2,) it was a gold round shaped thing in the center of the top part of the engine.

The knock sensor for the 1993 Chevy Cavalier is located in the back of the motor. It can also be located in the engine valve.
The VSS sensor is the vehicle speed sensor and it is located in the transmission. The purpose of it is to operate the speedometer and abs system.
The 93 Beretta does not have a distributor, it has coil packs.
Brake light switch defective or out of adjustment.
