For the regular base model Firebird or Firebird with T-Top with the V6-3.4ltr. L32 Engine. Look under the hood, passenger side of engine. The EGR is right behind the Alternator. It sits on top of a big pipe (EGR Adapter) that comes straight up from the Exhaust Manifold and the whole assembly looks tower-like. It also has a triangle shaped wire connector on top and a smaller pipe (EGR Pipe) coming out of the side of it and ending up going into the Intake Plenum (the big "U" shaped thing on top of the motor).
The Formula and TRANS AM both have a different EGR.
can you clean a egr valve on a 1995 pontiac firebird with a 3.,4 litre motor
yes it does
the two bolts, one on each side of the egr valve.
The EGR Valve on a 1999 Pontiac Firebird is located just to the left of the engine oil dipstick. There's nothing in the way so it's pretty easy to get to and replace. Hope this helps! -Erin
backside of the intake manifold under the hood cowl.
Remove the wiring from the top of the EGR then unbolt it at the bottom of the EGR system. You may need to replace the gasket after replacing the EGR itself
As I recall, that engine does not have an EGR valve.
does a 2004 grand am ,2.2 l have a egr valve
Would this cause the car not to start If the EGR VALVE is bad
location of egr valve on 04 grand am v6
There is no EGR valve on an Aspire.
There is NOT an EGR valve on this engine.
