The PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valve on a 2006 Ford Taurus with a 3.0L engine is located on the top of the engine, typically near the valve cover. You can find it on the passenger side, connected to a hose that leads to the intake manifold. To access it, you may need to remove some components for better visibility. Make sure to check the specific engine configuration, as it may vary slightly based on the model and production date.

how to replace pcv valve on 2006 e150 ford van
usually the pcv is in one of the 2 rocker covers with a large vacuum hose on it
The PVC on a 2003 Ford Taurus 6cyl. Duratec engine. I made a tool out of a 3/4 inch PVC plastic pipe i got from Home Depot. I took the new PVC car part and matched it up with the end of the square plastic part by filing out the corners of the pipe and fitting it over the end of the sguare part of the PVC car part. I did this to be able to reach the old PVC so it could be turned 1/2 to the left to get the old PVC car part out.
