where is the abs wheel sensor on a 2004 chev calavier thanks
If it is a 2-wheel drive then it is on the transmission tail shaft housing. If it is a 4-wheel drive then it is on the transfur case.
The sensor is located directly above the crankshaft pulley. The camshaft sensor also connects with the crankshaft position sensor.
You will have to remove the Distributor Cap and it will be on the left side of the Dist. plate.
There is more than one O2 sensor on that vehicle. They are all threaded into the exhaust system at various points before and after the catalytic converter.
You will have to call a parts store for the price. I have a Chev car and it was $18 and I have a Chev truck and the sensor was $ 100.
where are they located
On a 2005 Chevy Colorado, the wheel speed sensors are located near each wheel, typically mounted on the hub assembly or brake caliper area. Each wheel has its own sensor, which monitors the rotational speed of the wheel to assist with functions like anti-lock braking and traction control. To access them, you may need to raise the vehicle and remove the wheel for better visibility.
It is part of the speedometer.
Not sure what an "AIT" sensor is, please explain.
Cheviot Financial Corp (CHEV) had its IPO in 2004.
Engine coolant temp sensor, Engine oil pressure sensor, Crank sensor, Cam sensor, Bank 1 O2 sensor, Bank 2 O2 sensor (V-6), Post catalytic converter O2 sensor, EVAP (fuel system) pressure sensor, Fuel level sensor, VSS (Vehicle Speed) sensor, ABS wheel speed sensors, to name a few,
On the catalytic converter, driver side, upper sensor.
