What engine do you have?
According to my Chilton's Auto Repair manual : For a 1988 Ford Thunderbird ( 3.8 liter V6 engine ) With engine oil filter change : ( 5.0 U.S. quarts )
were is the fuel regulator located on a 1988 chevrolet celebrity ? The fuel pressure regulator is located under the intake manifold on the 2.8 V-6 engine but the pressure (Schrader type) test valve port is on the front of the engine to the right and just below the oil filler cap.
I believe the 1988 Ford Thunderbird is OBD I , EEC IV ( there is probably an EEC TEST connection in the engine compartment )
According to my Chilton's Auto Repair Manual : With engine oil filter change : The 1988 Ford Thunderbird engines ( 2.3 / 3.8 / 5.0 ) take : ( 5.0 U.S. quarts )
No it does not. The only engine in the 1988 Cadillac De Ville was the 4.5 Digital fuel injected engine. The 4.5 engine is a 2 valve per cylinder overhead valve (not overhead cam) engine. It was a good engine but not in the power category as the Northstar.
Two pigtails on the driver's side of the engine compartment. http://www.marksatterfield.com
Note that a 2.8L engine is a V6 and has two valve covers. Did you try looking at the other valve cover? == == == == IT'S ON THE VALVE COVER WHERE THEY ALWAYS ARE. I have this car and it is not there!
The engine computer controlls it.
In a 1988 Ford Thunderbird : firewall 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front of vehicle ( with 5.0 liter V8 engine )
The oil pressure may vary depend on mileage. However, typically on a 1988 GM engine should be around 14.25 ohms or more.
