The cabin filter is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment just beneath the windsheild. Look for several plastic bolts and extract them using needle nosed pliers. You can be firm but not recklass. Each bolt is comprised of a pin and a seat. Pull the pin up and then grip the seat to extract it. The cowl should come free. Replacement filters are least expensive off eBay at about $15 (the dealer charges $70). Note the airflow direction when installing the new filter.
