Its either your cam shaft position sensor or the crank sensor.
The sensor on the CAM SHAFT!
It is inside the distributor.

The 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass cam sensor is located on the back of the left cylinder head. The cam sensor should be labeled as such.
A 1989 5.9L Cummins does not have a cam sensor.

It is called a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS), and is located on the throttle body butterfly cross shaft opposite the throttle cable cam.
