On a 1989 Firebird, the cold start valve is typically located on the intake manifold, near the throttle body. It is usually positioned to the side of the manifold and is connected to the fuel rail. The valve is part of the fuel injection system and assists in providing extra fuel during cold engine starts. Always refer to the vehicle’s service manual for precise location and information.
Cold Start Valve. Cold start valve. I do not believe there exists a "cold start valve"
The cold start injecter is located in the middle of the intake manifold with the brake master cly. right in the way
No such thing.
were is locate the cold start valve
Hi the cold start valve is on the left hand side of the inlet manifold and should have a blue connector on it hope this helps..veedub_m1ck
The cold start valve is sometimes called the fifth injector. It is mounted to the intake air distribution box and is in line with the fuel rail. It has an electrical connection, a fuel inlet line and a fuel outlet line. The valve is essentially constructed the same as the regular fuel injectors. The main difference is that the cold start valve injection time is measured in seconds rather than in milliseconds like the regular injectors.
It is under the air filter. Remove the air filter, the cold start valve is located in the middle of the intake manifold, very close to the valve cover. You can identify it easily as there is a blue coloured electrical terminal connected to it on one side and a fuel line feed on the other, which leads back to the CIS fuel distributor.

check the egr valve, and you emission control system
Remove the Air cleaner completely and you will see the Cold Start Valve underneath with the wiring plug attached to it. You can instantly recognize this valve from the Allen Key screws that bolt it on to the manifold. John T
The cold start valve on a 1988 Mercedes 300SE is located on the intake manifold, near the throttle body. It is typically positioned on the side of the manifold and is connected to the fuel supply and electrical harness. This valve helps enrich the fuel mixture during cold starts by injecting additional fuel into the intake manifold. To access it, you may need to remove certain components for better visibility and reach.
