I found mine in the door post in between the 3rd seat and the back seat door post. It is a small 4 x 4 box with 5 large numbers (your door combo) on it.

It's on the wallet card in your owner's manual, and on the computer module.
Should be on the computer module in the left rear above the wheel well inside.
Unhooking the battery for about 20 minutes should be more than enough to resed the computer.
I was able to find the computer module under both the passanger and driver side seats. Hope this helps.

You will see a green plug and the computer module is right below it. There should the a sticker with your five digit code. It all snaps back in place. My local Mercury dealer wanted $42.50 for this info. Good luck.
Under the hood, on the firewall, on the passenger side, highup right near the top. About a 8" wide plug connection.
Usually it is near the left kick panel behind the fuse box. Sometimes it is mounted on the right side of the vehicle.
