You need to lift the driver seat all the way up, then slide it out of it's holding base and unplug it- BEFORE doing any disconnection, the parameters need to be saved into a diagnostic tool so they can be re-uploaded back into the new "module", otherwise a gazillion trouble codes will show up and it will run really bad.
