Where is the day time running lights sensor for a 1997 Chevy Lumina?

In the 2000 Chevy Lumina it is on the driver's side of the dashboard, close to the windshield. It is a small hole. I would guess the design hadn't changed since '97, since it works so poorly in 2000, they obviously hadn't improved it any.
