On a 2008 Chevy Silverado, the driver side door switch or sensor is typically located within the door assembly, often mounted on the door latch mechanism or as part of the door lock actuator. To access it, you generally need to remove the door panel. This switch is responsible for detecting whether the door is open or closed and may also control the interior lights. If you're having issues, checking for loose connections or damage to the switch is a good start.
On the catalytic converter, driver side, upper sensor.
The map sensor is plugged into the intake manifold. It will behind the throttle body on the passenger side of the vehicle.
