look behing the Power Steering pump. it is round with one set of wires coming out of it. you have to loosen the clamp on the throttle body housing and remove 2 bolts from the black cover picking up on that move it out of the way you will have a better view of the valve. it has 2 bolts holding it down.
If it's a 2.4 L DOHC motor, there is no EGR valve.
There are two bolted in the cylinder head under the valve cover.
Maybe, or maybe not. There is a 2.2L pushrod Chevy engine, in 1998 and '99 then there is the 2.2L Ecotec DOHC. Different engines completely
The DOHC 16 valve engine uses a Fram PH3387A The base 8 valve 2.2 engine uses Fram PH3506
