drivers side firewall or behind battery
i have a 92 rs and it has a electric
from what i am told the fan relay is some where on the intake manifold most likely on the driver side
Possibly an internal short on the fan itself, try replacing the fan.
I found mine (92) RS under the center console.
which relays,i have a Z28 there are alot of them. mostly located under hood, relay for what?
i need to know where the fan relay is and what it looks like The fan relay is located on the driver side on the firewall. It should be shapes like a oval cylinder. You should get one first. When you look at the new one it should has a diagram on the top of it. Match that diagram to the one the firewall. I believe there is three different relays shape the same side by side. Just match up the diagram.
The cooling fan relay(s) 3 of them, are located under the hood on the drivers side inside the fuse/relay plastic box. The relay information is on a decal inside the cover itself.
you can check 3 things 1. manifold temp sensor 2. fan switch is located on the passengers side of the engine right under the head 3. fan relay on the right hand side of the firewall drivers side
i'm having the same problem, the relay is under the hood, drivers side in fuse box.
check you tep sencer and youir fan relay drive safe
There was no SS camaro in 1992.
I have a 86 camaro with a 2.8 L . The cooling fan relay on mine is located above the brake master cylinder and is bolted onto the firewall with two 9/32" bolts. There are two relays beside each other and the one for the cooling fan is closest to the fender. If you disconnect the harness from the relay, you can use a wire to jump across the hot terminal to the others one at a time until the fan turns on the check that this is the correct relay for your car.
