Failure of this item is very common but something you can easily perform yourself with a nut-driver. Figure on 15-30 min to complete the repair. Symptom is the heater fan will only operate at the highest/fastest setting. The resistor pack is located under the dash. Here's how you get to it: Open the glove box and remove all contents. Push the plastic tabs inward that hold the glove box in position - it will now rotate forward/down (that's why you needed to take everything out). You'll now have easy access to the resistor pack which is located just to the left of the glove box opening. After locating it, unplug the wire harness from the device. Remove two screws holding it in place with a nut driver and it should just pop out with a slight tug. 80% of the part is concealed by the heater ductwork and you can only see a small portion of it before removal. Reverse the procedure to install the new resistor pack component.

My resistor pack would go out every Winter so I've done this repair a number of times. Dodge has come out with an improved part a few years back and the latest model has lasted 3 years so far.
