On a 2010 Ford Fusion, the fuel filter is integrated into the fuel pump assembly, which is located inside the fuel tank. To access it, you'll typically need to remove the fuel tank itself, as the filter is not a separate component that can be easily replaced. Regular maintenance may not require frequent changes since it is designed to last for the lifespan of the vehicle. If you suspect issues with fuel delivery, it's often recommended to check the entire fuel system.
no fuel replacement needed
I was looking at the Ford Fusion Hybrid owners manuals ( from 2010 to 2012 ) and they show that it has a lifetime fuel filter that is integrated with the fuel tank and that no regular maintenance or replacement is needed
The fuel filter, in a 2008 Ford fusion, is located inside of the fuel tank. Drain the fuel from the fuel tank. Remove the fuel filter plate. The fuel filter will slide out. Reverse the process to install the new fuel filter.

According to the 2010 Ford F-150 Owner Guide : The fuel filter is integrated with the fuel tank . It is a lifetime filter . No maintenance or replacement is required
The 2010 F150's do not have a conventional, replaceable fuel filter. I just bought a 2010, and the Owners Manual states that the filter is now in the gas tank, and Ford claims it is a "lifetime" filter. I think I will be tapping into my fuel line to add a replaceable filter. I don't like the idea of never changing a fuel filter. If it's designed to never clog, it isn't filtering enough.
