In the gas tank, Remove the tank being careful not to damage anything especially the fuel lines, using compressed air (or anything you can get, water is ok but you need to dry the tank very well) Remove the top cover of the tank, That's where the fuel lines connect, there is A steel ring about 4 or 5 inches round, You will need A hammer and screwdriver, use the tip of the screwdriver hitting it with hammer to turn the locking ring counter clockwise about 1/4 turn, then CAREFULLY lift the unit out of the tank, The steel rod or wire with the float on it is the sending unit.,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ADVISE,,, If your sending unit is bad, replace the fuel pump because its close behind and you don't want to do this twice.
