Ihave the same problem. There is a fuse for both tailights.
In the 2000 Mercury Mountaineer, the tail lights fuse is located in the interior fuse box, which is typically found on the driver's side, near the dashboard. The specific fuse for the tail lights is usually labeled as "Tail Lamps" or "Stop Lamps." You can refer to the diagram on the fuse box cover for exact placement. Always ensure the vehicle is off before checking or replacing any fuses.
According to my Chilton repair manual: Fuse # 1 - 15 amp - for stop lamps/four-way flash/speed control inhibit Fuse # 11 - 15 amp - for park lamps / license lamps Fuse # 13 - 15 amp - for turn lamps/ back up lamps
that is usually same fuse as tail lights
Look on fuse panel under dash, left of steering column.
The tail light fuse is located in the fuse box which is located in the glove compartment. The tail light fuse will be a red wire.
You may have a burnt out bulb that is causing your tail lights and dash board lights to not come on in your 1992 Bonneville. It can also be a blown fuse that is causing your problem.
In a 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser, the fuse for the tail lights is located in the fuse box under the dashboard on the driver's side. You can find the fuse box by removing the cover panel beneath the steering column. The specific fuse for the tail lights is usually labeled as "Tail" or "Tail Lamps." Always check the owner’s manual for the exact fuse location and specifications.
