rear tail light fuse
The 2001 Toyota Camry license plate light fuse can be found in the fuse box. The license plate fuse will be labeled as the tail light fuse.
The license plate light circuit is protected with the tail light circuit fuse.
Radio fuse
Added to that, and assuming that you're asking because your license plate light is out, and because the fuse is the same fuse for the tail lights, then the problem is not the fuse. It's the license plate light itself. === It should be the same fuse as the taillights.
If your license plate light is out change the bulb in it, if you have taillights your fuse is good as the license plate light uses the same fuse as the taillights.
check under the steering wheel. under hood (normally a black plastic box)
What fuse number is the License Plate on a 2003 Ford Winstar Van LX
Dude. I don't know. My license plate lights are out too, no special fuse for them. Arrggg
How do you change the liscence plate light fuse
Find out why it is not working. Do you have 12 volts at the bulb socket. If not, then you have a loose or corroded connection. If you have 12 volts then the bulb is blown or not making good contact. The license plate bulb is wired into the taillight circuit and operates on the same fuse. So if your taillights work then the problem is between the taillights and the license plate bulb socket.
According to my Chilton repair manual: Fuse # 1 - 15 amp - for stop lamps/four-way flash/speed control inhibit Fuse # 11 - 15 amp - for park lamps / license lamps Fuse # 13 - 15 amp - for turn lamps/ back up lamps
It depends on what type of vehicle you have but most license plate fuses are located in the fuse box under the steering wheel. If you have a fuse box under your hood, it might be located there.
