The Power Steering reservoir is mounted on top of the power steering pump.
To add power steering fluid to a 1986 Chevy Celebrity, locate the power steering reservoir, which is typically found near the front of the engine compartment, on the driver's side. The reservoir is usually identified by a cap labeled "Power Steering." Remove the cap, add the appropriate type of power steering fluid until it reaches the designated fill line, and then securely replace the cap. Always check for leaks and ensure the fluid level is maintained properly.

You can add power steering fluid to your 1988 Chevy Astro by removing the top to the power steering fluid reservoir. Pour the fluid directly into the reservoir.
On the V6 engine the power steering reservoir is on the firewall side of the engine below the level of the exhaust manifold. There may be heater hoses or wiring harness over it making the filler cap a little hard to see.
