The speed sensor on a Chevy Silverado is located on the tailshaft of the transmission. To remove it, unplug the wire hardness, unscrew the bolt holding it in place, and pull it out.
That is the anti locking brake sensor / wheel speed sensor
in the valve body in transmission pan
The speed sensor wire is connected to the speed sensor and goes to the speed sensor relay switch. The speed sensor relay switch is connected to the computer by a separate wire.
The speed sensor on a 1990 Chevy Celebrity is on the top of the transaxle on the passenger side of the car. To change it unlatch and remove the wire harness then remove the two bolts that hold it in. The speed sensor can then be lifted out of the transaxle. To reinstall a new sensor reverse these steps.
The knock sensor is located on the front of the engine, just above the oil filter mount. It should have a single Dark Blue wire connected to it.
The speed sensor wire for a 2004 Toyota Sequoia is behind the glove box. The speed sensor wire is orange/green.
The speed sensor wire in a 2005 Silverado is typically pink/black in color. This wire is located at the vehicle speed sensor on the transmission.
THE temp sending unit 4 the inside gauge usally has 1 wire & the sending unit 4 the Computer has 2 wires.
Look at the rear drivers side of the transmission and you will see a round electronic sensor that is held into the side of the transmission with 1 bolt and clamp. it will have a electric wire pluged into it. That is the speed sensor.
The speed sensor, on your Dodge Stratus, is located on the back of the transmission. The speed sensor has a wire leading to the front wheel.
