It is under the hood near the battery. If you pull the battery out and look at the inside corner, you'll see the starter relay.
The top lug is the input from the keyswitch (and transmission safety switch, etc). The lug closest to the headlight is the input from the battery, and also has ring terminals that feed the rest of the electrical systems (yellow wires). The lug closest to the passenger door is the output to the solenoid.
From the factory, there is a funky Y-shaped boot that connects the two lower terminals (battery positive and solenoid coil) that attach to that relay.
It is located in the metal line between the condensor and evaporator. Look for a small crimp in the line.

The relay is located under the fuse box, attached on the lower right end. The fuse box sits under the left side of the dash panel next to the emergency brake foot pad.
The relay is under the hood, top right (there are 2, one's for the computer). The true fuse is in the fuel tank with the pump.

The turn signal flasher relay switch, on a Ford E2 50, can be found below the dashboard on the drivers side. The relay switch is round and simply unplugs.
