Look in a removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose
The thermostat on a 1999 2,4 liter Grand Am is located on the side of the engine. The thermostat is on the drivers side of the engine a few inches from the top.Ê
To replace the thermostat on a Mazda 3 with a 2.3-liter engine, first ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Drain the coolant from the radiator, then remove the upper radiator hose connected to the thermostat housing. Unbolt the thermostat housing, remove the old thermostat, and clean the mating surfaces before installing the new thermostat with a new gasket. Reassemble everything, refill the coolant, and run the engine to check for leaks.
The thermostat is located in the housing at the engine end of the top radiator hose.
On the 2.6 liter, 4 cylinder engine the thermostat housing cover is where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine. On the 3.0 liter, V6 engine the cover is where the lower radiator hose attaches to the engine.
The thermostat is under the housing where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine.
The thermostat is located under the housing that the lower radiator hose hooks to on the engine.
The 1999 4.7 liter engine temperature sensor is located just above the thermostat housing. The sensor will be on the front of the engine.
look directly under the throttle body.
If you have a 2.5 liter engine it is located where the lower radiator hose meets the engine.
It is in the thermostat housing at the end of the top radiator hose on the engine side.
At the rear of the engine, inside of an alumin mechanism
