There is no such thing as a 'traction control sensor'.
But, If you are referring to the "Traction Control System", there are Many components that make up the Traction Control System.
The heart of Traction Control System is the "EBCM" (Electric Brake Control Module). The EBCM monitors the wheel speed sensors for Drive Wheel Slip. When drive wheel slip is noted while the brake is not applied, the EBCM will enter "Traction Control Mode".
When vehicle enters Traction Control Mode, the EBCM sends a request to the "PCM" (Power Control Module) to reduce the amount of torque to the drive wheels. If the engine torque reduction does not eliminate drive wheel slip, the EBCM will actively apply the drive wheel brakes.
The EBCM in the 05' Buick Terraza is located on the "BPMV" (Brake Pressure Modulator Valve). In other words, the EBCM is mounted on the Antilock Brake Controller.
Buick Terraza was created in 2005.

The external temperature sensor on a 2005 Buick Terraza is typically located in the front of the vehicle, often mounted in the grille or behind the front bumper. It may also be attached to the bottom of the vehicle near the radiator. To access it, you may need to remove some panels or cover. Always consult the vehicle's service manual for specific instructions.

This is most likely due to a blown fuse. Even if the brakes are good, a blown fuse will cause this symptom. If, after replacing the fuse, it blows again within a few weeks, additional maintenance may be required.

The hood sensor for the 2005 Buick Terraza is typically located near the hood latch mechanism. It is a small switch that activates when the hood is closed, signaling the vehicle's security system and other related features. To access it, you may need to remove the plastic cover or shield near the latch area. If you're having trouble locating it, consulting the vehicle's service manual can provide additional guidance.
Buick made ABS standard on all cars in 1992 i think, but don't hold me to that. :-D But I know for a fact that the 1999 Buick Century came with ABS standard. New to 1999 though was an optional traction control, and you can't have traction control without ABS.
To fix a 502 code on a Buick Terraza, start by checking for any loose or damaged wiring and connectors related to the engine control module (ECM) and sensors. Next, inspect the intake air system for any leaks that could affect engine performance. If the issue persists, it may be necessary to replace faulty sensors, like the mass air flow sensor or throttle position sensor, and clear the codes using an OBD-II scanner. Always consult the vehicle's service manual for specific diagnostic procedures and recommendations.
