You have to buy one-it will come with instructions to help you install it. The simplest way is to buy one from a gm dealer and it should plug right in.
The trailer wiring kit is available from Jeep at about $125 and plugs into a wiring connector accessible through a panel in the left rear (inside) fender panel (behind the spare tire, near the left rear turn signal) with the trailer wiring harness routed through a grommet in the bottom of the compartment
There isn't one. We spent a couple of hours installing the trailer harness connector to our 1995 continental with Scotch-Loc(R) connectors.
Several different types of connectors are available for a 1995 Tahoe wiring harness. The best connector to use is a connector that has an adapter that works on older trailers. Connect the wires according to color as the colors are universal. Follow the instructions that come with the connector.
Right on top of engine, next to fuel injector or carb, on passenger side. Usually has a wiring harness coming off the top if it.
Your local auto parts store can sell you a trailer light kit that plugs into your existing rear light harness, no cutting, no splicing. Takes about 5 minutes to install and costs under $30.
Commercial kits are available that just plug in. Check with a local auto parts retailer or a camper/rv trailer retailer. The kits are great and the whole job can be completed in about a minute.
You should never have to replace the wiring harness, and if you do get a professional to do it. Now if you are talking about the wiring harness for a after market head unit, then you just buy an adapter. AND ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE WHEN MESSING WITH YOUR CARS ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.
The wiring harness from the 1999 stereo has a 21 prong plug and the 1995 has a 14 prong plug you can purshase a harness from Honda but it has to be hadrwired to the exsisting wiring but don't screw it up, go to Honda and get a wiring diagram for the both of them to match up the wiring you need to make it work.

You need a diagram of the wiring harness, such as can be found in motorcycle maintenance manuals. The description of the full procedure would take many pages to answer and would be useless anyhow, because the answer depends on the degree to which the particular wiring harness has been dismantled.
I bought a trailer hitch for mine and it came with a wiring harness that plugs into an existing plug inside the driver side rear hatch panel area. It didn't work and would not override the third brakelight like it was supposed to. So I just bought some electrical connectors and wired direct into the existing wiring after removing the rear tail lights. Make sure you have enough wiring to reach the center of your hitch and some slack. Throw away the harness that comes with the hitch, it will be too much of a pain and probably won't work anyway.
The easiest/simplest way is to get a kit from one of the discount stores (Kmart, Wal-Mart, or even U-Haul). There are adapters available that you simply unplug a large plug at the right rear of your Suburban's frame, insert the adapter plug, and then plug the other oem plug into the back of the adapter. This acts as a "T" and the trailer plug harness then plugs into the third plug of the adapter.
