The powertrain control module is mounted through the firewall on the passenger side. One end is visible in the engine compartment where the wiring harness is bolted to the PCM , and the rest is "hidden" behind the glove compartment

I don't think so , the 1995 Ford Explorer uses an electronically controlled transmission ( 4R55E I believe ) instead of the A4LD transmission that is in the 1994 Ford Explorer
