On a 2012 Ford Focus, the transmission dipstick is located near the back of the engine bay, typically on the driver's side. It may be obscured by other components, so you might need to move some hoses or covers to access it. It's important to check the owner's manual for the exact location and instructions, as some models may have a sealed transmission that doesn't include a dipstick.
Through dipstick tube.
There is no transaxle dipstick, only drain plugs.
There is none
Evidently it's behind the steering wheel!
Its usually the dipstick for a focus and you can buy it fro fast parts
On a 2007 Ford Focus : Just the automatic transaxle ( transmission ) has a fluid level dipstick It is in the engine compartment towards the front of the vehicle ( that's not where I would be looking , but according to the drawing in the Owner Guide that's where it is )
If auto - through the dipstick tube If std. - through the plug at side of transmission
The 2012 Ford Focus has a 5-speed manual.
Fluid is added down the dipstick tube. The dipstick is a dealer special tool though.
Down the transmission dipstick tube.Down the transmission dipstick tube.
Look for a dipstick with an orange handle, at the front of the engine compartment towards the right.
You refill transmission fluid through the transmission dipstick tube. Remove the dipstick and, using a funnel, pour fluid into tube slowly in small amounts and check level each time. DO NOT OVERFILL!!! Good luck.
