To release the trunk lock from inside a 1995 Buick LeSabre, locate the trunk release lever, which is typically found on the driver's side, near the floor or on the dashboard. If the lever is not functioning, you may need to access the trunk release mechanism directly by removing the rear seat or rear panel to reach the latch. Pull the cable attached to the trunk latch to open it manually. Ensure that any obstructions are cleared to allow the mechanism to work properly.
On left of steering wheel on wall is a "button" to press, then in the backseat area, there is a "cord" that pulls the trunk loose also, it is near the top left hand side of top of seat. May have to dig it out.
If the 94 LeSabre trunk does not have a remote release, check the rear sear to see if the back is removable, to gain access to the trunk. If there is no access, then either a locksmith will need to pick the trunk or you will have to drill the trunk.
The socket size for the trunk tail light on a 2001 Buick LeSabre is 7mm. Bulbs can be purchased at most local automotive repair stores.
To fix a trunk on a 1993 Buick Riviera that is stuck open, first, check the trunk release mechanism and the latch for any visible obstructions or damage. If the latch is stuck, try using a lubricant like WD-40 to loosen it. Additionally, inspect the trunk release switch and wiring for any faults. If these steps don't work, you may need to manually disengage the latch or consult a professional for further assistance.
