On a 1998 Pontiac Sunfire, the turn signal flasher is typically located under the dashboard, near the steering column. You may need to remove the lower dash panel or look up behind the steering wheel to access it. The flasher is usually a small, cylindrical component that plugs into the fuse box or a separate relay socket. If you’re having trouble locating it, consulting the vehicle’s manual can provide more specific guidance.
