I was looking at the 1996 Ford Explorer Owner Guide and it shows :
An arrow pointing to the passenger side of the engine compartment , for
Engine compartment relay module # 2 ( it contains 2 large relays and 2 small
relays and the front washer pump relay is the small relay at the bottom )
* I believe the relay box is actually between the passenger side headlight and the engine air filter housing , but I'm not a mechanic / technician , I just noticed there is what looks like a relay box there on my 1995 Ford Explorer
