You need to know that there are two reasons one might find water on/in/under pass. side carpet. First is that it is hot out side and so you run the A/C and the condensate that results is leaking from around the A/C core and ending up on the floor. A quick look under the pass. side dash might find a lose hose, cracked catch pan, or similar. Also look on the engine side of the fire wall for similar clues. Anything that would cause the condensate to no longer be drained to outside. Water will be clear and not stink. Also non-pressurized. Secondly in the wintertime it's cold outside so you have the heat going and a nasty smell and liquid set up residence. Again a quick look up under the pass. side dash and the fire wall from the engine side will reveal a split hose, lose connection, or a heater core that is bad. Water is pressurized anti-freeze and will be warm as it first leaks out. Both the A/C and heater cores are in the duct-work. Hopefuly they are readily accessed from the pass. side firewall. often partial dash dis-assembly is required to un-bury the offending item.
on the 2004, it is located under the carpet, under the front passenger seat
The air bag module on 2002 Chevy venture is located between the driver side front seat and the passenger side front seat under the carpet
The motor is located on the passenger side firewall.
your heater core is leaking
i wouldn't know --- there is no 1996 chevy venture, they started making them in 1997. However, almost all the venture fuses are located on the right side dash board, open the front passenger door
I've got a better question, why is this question in the Chevy venture forum ?
yes
The fire wall is located between the engine compartment and the passenger compartment.
the 1998 venture fuses are located on the right side of the dash board when you open the passenger door.
Not a fun job to do... They come from the heater core located on the passenger side of the firewall. becasue it's a Chevy Venture/Olds Silhouette/Pontiac Montana... this job is not easy.
it may be in back corner of engine, passenger side lower.
my 2000 Chevy venture van the air comes hot by drivers vet and cool by passenger vents
