I received my SX4 automatic Hatchback 2 months ago after 4 months waiting list. My odometer is now 2000 kilometer. I went to Dokki service center in Cairo, Egypt to perform the 1000 kilometer service. I had 2 complaints the first was noking sound coming from the front suspension and the second was the high motor noise especially at 2000-3000 rpm. The service center did not resolve my complaints. I went then to the main service center at Abu Rawash. The service engineer tried to convince me that I should Kick down the the accelerator pedal in order to avoid the high noise coming from the motor and that the sound coming from the front suspension is normal because the Power Steering is electric. I hope you have solution for my complaints.

The air conditioning in a 1996 Suzuki Sidekick Sport may shut off while driving due to a few reasons, such as engine overheating, low refrigerant levels, or a malfunctioning compressor. The system is designed to protect the engine by disabling the AC when it detects high temperatures or insufficient refrigerant pressure. Additionally, a faulty relay or electrical issue could also cause the AC to turn off unexpectedly. Regular maintenance and checking the refrigerant levels can help prevent this issue.
The 1996 Geo Tracker and the 1996 Suzuki Sidekick are essentially the same vehicle, as the Tracker is a rebadged version of the Sidekick. Both were produced during a partnership between General Motors and Suzuki and share similar designs, platforms, and components. To add transmission fluid to a 1996 Suzuki Sidekick, locate the transmission dipstick tube, which is typically found near the back of the engine compartment. Remove the dipstick, then use a funnel to pour the appropriate type of transmission fluid into the tube. Ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and the engine is running to get an accurate fluid level reading. Always check the owner’s manual for the correct fluid type and capacity.
The valve adjustment on a 1996 Suzuki Sidekick 1.6L involves checking and adjusting the clearance between the valve stems and the rocker arms to ensure proper engine performance. This is typically done using feeler gauges to measure the gap, which should be adjusted to the specifications outlined in the service manual. The process requires removing the valve cover, and adjustments can be made using shims or adjusting screws, depending on the engine design. Regular maintenance of valve clearance helps in maintaining optimal engine efficiency and longevity.

Suzuki Sidekick from 1989 - 1996, had an 11 Gallon Gas Tank. I had thought it was smaller, since when I was at the empty mark, could only put in about 9 Gallons, found out my Gage was off, and I had 2 gallons to spare!
