GM vehicles do not use inertia/reset switches.
On a 1999 Chevy Monte Carlo, the fuel pump reset switch, also known as the inertia switch, is typically located in the trunk, near the fuel tank. You can find it on the driver's side, mounted on the rear wall of the trunk. If you need to reset it, simply press the button on the switch. Always consult the owner's manual for specific details related to your vehicle.
