It sounds like you probably blew a fuse most of the time several smaller electrical devixes will be on the same fuse. check under your dash or just inside the engine bay for your fuse box(es) the fuses are usually marked pretty good on the box or lid panel. from orion_1120@Yahoo.com There is an Integrated Control Unit (ICU) on back of the dash fuse box that controls the intermittent wipers, rear window defroster relay, and several functions that are controlled by the door switches (chimes, seat beats, etc.). When this unit fails, some and possibly all the functions it controls will not work. You must remove the 3 bolts holding the dash fuse box to the kick panel and turn it over to get access to the ICU. The ICU is expensive to replace (approximately $250) and is a dealer item only. I suggest you go to a salvage yard. That's what I did and I paid $20. Good Luck! Kevin
Probably because your wipers are on intermittent.
Wipers, interior lights, exterior lights, alarm, some of the hvac system,.......

Variably intermittent wipers are a feature in many modern vehicles that allows drivers to adjust the frequency of their windshield wiper operation. Unlike standard intermittent wipers that operate at fixed intervals, variably intermittent wipers let users select a delay between wipes, accommodating different weather conditions and personal preferences. This functionality provides better visibility during light rain or mist by allowing for more customized control of the wiper speed.

The windshield wiper switch allows the driver to make the wipers work either continually or intermittently.
Had the same problem. Make sure the rear window is all the way up. This is probably a safety feature? Your wipers and rear defroster should work.
It controls the intermittent wipers
Locks, wipers, lights, most interior functions, theft, parts of the hvac etc
It controlls the theft alarm, interior lights, wipers, part of the hvac system, cluster, etc.
It controls most of the interior electronics such as lights, wipers, locks, theft alarm, etc.
The wiper switch on the ParkAvenue could be bad. Or, the intermittent relay for the wipers could be stuck, causing the wipers to run.
