It's a self diagnostic feature of the heated seat system. If the switch high and low indicator lamps are both flashing indicates the heated seat element is shorted. If the switch high lamp is flashing and the low is off then the heated seat element is open. This diagnostic feature only lasts for about 1 minute, that's why it goes out.

If a pot is no longer heated when will the convection currents stop flowing?

Once the pot is no longer heated, the temperature of the liquid inside will begin to stabilize and the convection currents will gradually slow down and eventually stop as the temperature equalizes throughout the liquid.

What happens when aluminium is heated?

When aluminum is heated, it expands due to the increase in its kinetic energy. As it reaches its melting point at 660.3°C, it transitions from a solid to a liquid state. Beyond this temperature, if heated further, aluminum will eventually vaporize and turn into a gas.

What happens to convition current when the liquid or gas is no longer heated?

When the liquid or gas is no longer heated, the convection current slows down or stops completely. This is because the temperature difference that drives the movement of the fluid is no longer there. As a result, the fluid will eventually reach thermal equilibrium where there is no more heat transfer and the convection current will cease.

What happens when a piece of metal is always heated?

What will happen if red ink is mixed with water and heated?

If red ink is mixed with water and heated, the ink will begin to dissolve in the water. The heat will increase the rate at which the ink molecules separate and mix with the water molecules. Eventually, the ink will completely disperse in the water, resulting in a colored solution.

What colour of flame does sodium chloride produce when heated?

Sodium chloride does not produce a flame when heated. It simply melts into a liquid state and eventually vaporizes.

Why it a vessel completely filled with water is heated the water spills?

When water is heated, it expands and its volume increases. If a vessel is completely filled with water and heated, the water expands beyond the vessel's capacity, leading to spillage. This is due to the increase in kinetic energy of the water molecules, causing them to move further apart and occupy more space.

What is the difference about the behaviour of water when it is heated or cooled?

When water is heated, it absorbs energy and its temperature rises, eventually reaching its boiling point where it turns into steam. When water is cooled, it releases energy and its temperature drops, eventually reaching its freezing point where it turns into ice.

What happens to the particles in a liquid when they are heated?

The particles in a liguid are bonded (not as strongly as a solid which is why it flows.) when it is heated the particles vibrate and eventually the bonds break and the particles break away. This is evaporation.
