More Info:
It sounds like there is water rushing back and forth under the drivers seat to under the gas pedal. The floor board is wet under the pedals. I can't see where there might be water stored. We just had a good amount of rain and this problem started right afterwards.
---
The water may be trapped inside the driver's door. All vehicles have drain holes at the bottom of the doors to drain water. These holes in most cases are very small. An accumulation of crud can plug those drain holes. You can drill a few 1/4" holes at the lowest point under the door to let it drain or you can disassemble the door panel and clean it out.
---
There's no water in the door. I just checked. It sounds like it's in the frame of the vehicle running underneath the drivers seat from behind it to almost the front left wheel well. I can hear it slosh around if I'm moving and I hit the brakes. Or when I'm stopped and I accelerate. Very weird.. It's been 4 days since it's rained and I can still hear it inside the floor pretty much.

Water inside your Isuzu Rodeo could be due to several reasons, such as a damaged or worn weather seal around the doors or windows, which allows rainwater to seep in. Additionally, clogged drainage channels in the sunroof or blocked windshield drains can also cause water to accumulate inside the vehicle. If the issue persists, it may be wise to check for leaks in the heater core or other areas of the cooling system. It's important to address the source of the water to prevent mold and damage to the interior.
My 1993 Isuzu rodeo has 175,000 on it. New timing, water pump, radiator at 100,000. Still running strong. Regular oil changes.
It is located under the timing belt cover.
the water pump is driven by the timing belt. highly recommended to replace the tensioner, tensioner and idler pullies, and cam seals.

Drain the water from the cooling system. Remove the water supply line to the thermostat. Remove the thermostat housing bolts. Remove the thermostat. Reverse the process to install the new thermostat.
You should be able to find a shop manual at your local library with the right info...make copies as they are usually only in the REFERENCE section....good luck:)
