Start with checking the bulbs andthe fuse.
Have vehicle scanned to determine problem
3rd brake light or rear brake lights?
are brake lights staying on or is brake in the dash on ?
on the brake pedal under the dash is a brake light switch. that when you depress the brake it turns your lights on. you might wanna check that
Probably because the light is burned out. It is pretty easy to change.
This light is trying to tell you that your brake fluid may be low. Check your brake fluid and fill if it needs it.
Check bulbs?
yes they have brake lights and you probably have a bad brake light switch which is on top of the brake pedal under the dash.
check the brake light switch that is on top of your brake pedal under the dash, could be out of adjustment or bad.
On a 2000 I switched the backup light (which worked) into the brake light hole. It did not work. But brake light bulb in backup light hole worked. So that means it is NOT the bulb. Has to be sensor. I had problems with the taillights on a '99. Problem was the connector to the light assembly. I replaced the wiring harness connector using a junkyard replacement.
Check the fuse, check the bulbs, then check the brake light switch.
Probably a misadjusted or defective brake light switch.
