AnswerIt could be your IAC(Idle Air Control) motor isn't functioning as it should any more. This will cause an engine to die when you first put it in gear. The other thing you may want to look at is your fuel pressure. If the fuel pressure is dropping slightly because the pump is going bad could cause the same result.
