The heater relay switch lets the heater blower know when to come on and when to go off. In most vehicles this switch is behind the glove compartment. The heater A/C control module is going bad.It is located behind the controls for the A/C and heat.Mine is intermittant,it will switch over to heat once in awhile,all I have to do is stop the truck turn off the ignition and it will re-set,then it is good to go again.This has been going on for about 3 or 4 years now,but until it stops working compelety I will keep resetting it,since it cost about 600.00 to replace it.Hope this helps.
