Air leak in upper manifold, use a double gasket, problem solved!
throttle cable stuck,
You hook a battery charger to the red and black jump start posts under the hood.
Under the hood on the driver side are positive and negative jump start posts. The cables attach there.
My wife and I purchased a Sebring (1998) that had the same problem. We were told it is the chip in the key. The key needs to be replaced.
Take out the horn relay switch in an emergency. Without the alarm sounding off you can actually start to think...um...
If you are looking for a reset switch, Chrysler does not use those.
Start with 4.5 and check the dipstick.
If it is a convertible you put the positive lead on the positive jump start post, located near the air cleaner box on the driver side. the negative is clipped to the bolt by the hood latch.
Start and stall out, possibly. Not start at all, not likely.
engine have spark and fuel pressure and still will not start
I have a 1996 Chrysler sebring convertible and I have had a new battery go bad three times in two years. Chrysler dealers across America could not solve the problem. I wound up stranded in a little town called Olds, Alberta, about 60 miles north of Calgary, Alberta, on a weekend in a hail storm and my car would not start. The nearest Chrysler Dealer in town fixed the problem in a couple hours. The problem was a faulty fuel-pump sending unit which caused a slow electrical power leak from the battery.
No you do not.
If the old part had failed, yes.
