In a Manual, your car can stall at red lights because the engine is not receiving gas, this is why the klutch is important.

In January 2006 there were 11,817 stop lights counted in New York.
Red always mean stop. There are many warning lights next to the speedometer. Check engine will look like an engine and a flashing check engine light means you have an engine cylinder miss and should stop driving the car until you can have this fixed. You will ruin the catalytic converter and O2 sensors if not. There is also the oil pressure and charging system lights which mean stop and have this repaired. All these are on the left side. On the right side is the brake light which means there is a problem with the brake system.
