Remove the brake pads and rotors, take them to the auto parts store and buy the replacment parts with the NEW parts right in front of you. That way you'll get the right part. Sometimes the manufacturer will put larger brakes on a vehicle with certain options. If your auto parts store doesn't know about it they might not be able give you the right parts.

To replace the front brakes on a Volvo S60, begin by safely lifting the vehicle and removing the front wheels. Next, detach the caliper by removing the caliper bolts, then slide off the caliper and support it (do not let it hang on the brake line). Remove the old brake pads from the caliper bracket, replace them with new ones, and compress the caliper piston if necessary. Finally, reassemble the caliper, reinstall the wheel, and lower the vehicle before testing the brakes.
Rotors out of round?
Type and year of car would help.
Front brakes or back> front is really simple, when you take the caliper off, the caliper is held on with 2 1/2 bolts... the rotor will come off if your going to replace that to, it will slide off the spindels when the caliper is removed... put the new pads in place and slide the caliper back on and put the 2 bolts back in to hold the caliper in place.

To tighten the disk brakes on your bike, follow these steps: Locate the brake caliper on the disk brake system. Use an Allen wrench to loosen the mounting bolts on the caliper. Squeeze the brake lever to center the caliper over the rotor. Tighten the mounting bolts on the caliper. Test the brakes to ensure they are working properly. Remember to adjust both the front and rear brakes if needed.
