On a 1994 Ford Explorer : The modulator valve is on the outside of the A4LD automatic transmission , on the passenger side of the transmission , I believe it is behind a heat shield
The Ford Explorer was introduced in 1991. There are no 1990 Explorers to take a transmission from.
