On the fuel rail there is a cap that looks like a valve stem, with a fuel pressure tester you can see if your fuel pump is working. this tool is about forty dollars. If your careful with the key turned to the on position your can use a key to push down to see if there is pressure built up. BE CAREFUL not to get gas into your eyes, if working properly there should be alot of pressure. I'm not sure of the exact amount but I believe its around 40lbs.
