timing belt take off cam cover there is 4- 8 mm bolts on the side and take a peak and see how it looks
Change the spark plugs and wires first. That is often all they need to run right.
What car & engine???? Check injector connectors with noid lights, ensure all fuses are good, is there good compression?
check the rotor cap again and try the old spark plug wires again
An engine requires gas and spark to fire but it also requires compression and timing. If it has gas and spark, I would check the compression...should be over 100 to run good. If it has good compression then I would check to see if the spark occurs when the compression does. If it doesn't then you probably have a sheared key on the flywheel.
Chck fuel, spark, and compression.
You need 3 things for your engine to run, gas, spark and air. First thing I would check, you may already have, but check to see that you have gas flowing into the carb, if you do, then pull your carb and check the main and idle jets to make sure they are not plugged up. If this doesn't work, disconnect your kill switch.
Have the ignition madule checked out.
the first thing I would check is, fuel, spark, coil, ignition module
Is it getting spark?
well the engine will ether run rich or not run at all because the oil does not spark as good as gas so the engine would not run very good . Also it will ruin the spark plug as well
my 93 ford escort lx cranks but wont start an run what is wrong with it please tell me
The engine needs fuel, compression and spark to run. You are missing one of those.
